Comments on L. C. Hayden’s Where Secrets Lie
EXPLANATION: I simply had to include this "review" in here. I received a note from a high school teacher informing me that he had assigned his classes book reports. Most students turned in a two or three page book report. One student turned in a two sentence report. Here it is:
I read L. C. Hayden’s entire mystery novel, and I didn’t fall asleep even once. That’s the first time that’s ever happened.

If you like high action, fast paced mysteries, Hayden is a master at ending a chapter at the proper moment and rolling you right into the next page before you know it. I like Bronson’s quiet style. He’s a polite, competent detective. I recommend WHERE SECRETS LIE to those who like a galloping good entertainment

WHERE SECRETS LIE is an absorbing suspense novel, filled with red herrings, that will have you dashing down many wrong turns in your efforts to solve the puzzle. She brings such depth to her characters that you sometimes forget they aren’t real. This is a good old-fashioned heroine in danger suspense novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.

WHERE SECRETS LIE was very enjoyable. At the very beginning, almost from page one the reader is hooked. Pages must be turned in rapid succession to discover the fate of Lisa and the true identity of her family.
